Hans Sprokkreeff explains: “Indonesia and its people have a special place in my heart. I was born in Indonesia and spent the first eight years of my life there. The first words I spoke were Bahasa Indonesia words.

In my working life, going to foreign postings for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, I have always kept in contact with Indonesian expats.

Indonesia Nederland Society aims at improving the bilateral relations between Indonesia and the Netherlands. Being member of the Board of Trustees of the INS allows me to make a modest contribution to this important goal.”
