Networking for both the embassy and patrons of INS
Once a year, the Indonesia Nederland Society facilitates a networking meeting between her patrons and the ambassador of the Republik Indonesia and his staff. This year the venue was Hotel Des Indes, a suitable location for informal talks in a cordial atmosphere, whilst enjoying the lunch. All patrons were represented and took the opportunity to enhance the relations with the Indonesian embassy.
In return the Indonesian diplomates were able to meet and greet managers of some of the finest Dutch industries that are doing business with Indonesia. Thus the luncheon was a good prelude to the visit of President Joko Widodo a few days later, as one of his key issues is improvement of the economic relationship between Indonesia and the Netherlands.
